I love you BEARY much

I had so much fun making art with my friend Celeste on the long weekend in September. This little bear showed up on the canvas and I couldn’t be more in love with him.

The words are from an old Dr.Seuss book I had which I thought was fun.

Collage has really captured my JOY lately. It’s so different from my ‘usual’. I get to play and have no plan and just move paint around, add bits and blobs of tissue and inks and I find it super freeing and such a surprise in the end.

I signed up for another online course, this time with Juliette Crane, it’s called Painting for the Heart. I love that she paints on things like cardboard – which is refreshing in itself because you don’t have any thoughts of concern over ‘messing up’ a piece of cardboard like you might if you were working on a canvas. I can’t wait to try it and see what fun little creations come forward.
